Definition
  • Slang and likely insult for the centers of 8 reales pieces which were cut out and circulated as crude small coins on the West Indies islands of Guadalupe, Martinique, Dominica and Trinidad in the 1700s. The silver plugs were round, heart shaped or square with plain or scalloped edges. Moco means �snot� in Spanish.
