Moneda fraccionaria Público Deposited

Definição
  • Spanish: Small value copper or billion coinage, often locally made. The mint operators in the Americas often avoided producing minor coins because they could make more profit easier with large silver and gold coins. As a result, people in the 1600s and 1700s frequently had to create their own fractional coins from lead, brass, leather, cardboard or wood, giving these pieces names like seas, tlacos, raciones, fichas, pilones and tabillas.
