Definition

• Spanish: Silver plated, or simply, plated. A silvered medal, with a thin coating made by dipping the item in a silver cyanide solution. No electrical current is used, as is in silver-plating. Silvered pieces bleed (meaning the coating wears away) easily so the process is usually used on cheap medals and tokens.
