Sombrerete 8 reales Público Deposited
- A coin issued in the central Mexico village of Sombrerete in the state of Zacatecas in 1812. It is both a Spanish coin, as it was issued by the Royalists serving the Crown, and a Mexican coin as an emergency issue when the War for Independence made it difficult to take the silver mined nearby to the mint in Mexico City.
