Troquel progresivo Público Deposited
- Spanish: A progressive die, a remarkable 3-section die device that produces tokens. A blank strip is fed into the press. At the first point the obverse and reverse were struck on the strip. At the second it is pierced as was typical on transit tokens. At the third striking point the circular token was cut out of the strip. Aligning the die and strip is critical. Created by the Osborne Coinage Co. of Cincinnati, Ohio, founded in 1920.
