• Pharmacist. Married to Clara with three sons and a daughter.
  

  Founder of the Madison Coin Club in 1932. Served on the board, as vice president and as president of Numismatists of Wisconsin. He received the Numismatic News Numismatic Ambassador Award in 1981.

  He is buried at Madison, Wisconsin.
