• Born in Plymouth, Indiana. Served in the Air Force during WWII. Graduated from Morris Harvey College with masters degree from Marshall University. Married to Norma Lee Bradley with four children. 
  
  Dealer in world currencies. He was named a Numismatic News Numismatic Ambassador in 1990. He was inducted into the IBNS Hall of Fame.
