• Born in France, Father of Anthony.

  Die sinker in Philadelphia. Also known for embossed leather book plates.

  He engraved dies for the Pennsylvania State Agricultural Society medal (Julian AM-65). Examples were struck between 1855 and December 1878. This was previously attributed to his son, Anthony.
