• Born in Scranton, Pennsylvania. He served in the Army during World War I. Married to Gladys Mae Burrell on 7/1/1921. Employed in the clothing business with Hickey Freeman.

  He served as president of the Rochester Numismatic Association in 1924. He conducted the 1931 ANA convention sale.
