• Born in Sterlingville, New York. Graduated from Princeton University. Served in the U.S. Army Air Corp during WWII. Employed with Elixabeth Arden, he moved to Mexico in 1974.

  Authority on Mexican and Latin American coinages.

  Founding member of Sociedad Numismatica de Mexico.

  Received ANA Medal of Merit in 1976 and Farran Zerbe Memorial Award in 1983. In 1994 he was inducted into the ANA Numismatic Hall of Fame.
