Biografia

• Born in Halifax County, Virginia. She married Lewis Robards in 1785 and they separated in 1790. She married Andrew Jackson in August, 1791 before she was divorced from Robards. They married again January 17, 1794.

  She died after the presidential election but before the inauguration of Jackson as president. She does not quailify for a “First Spouse” coin.
