• Born in Bellingham, Washington. Married to Arlene with three sons and two daughters. Later married to Susan.

  Coin dealer with Mount Baker Coin Co. in Bellingham in 1957. He moved to Hawaii in 1961 and opened Oceania Coin Co. Author of Hawaiian Money and Medals (1967) and other books on hawaiin history.
