• Born in Cleveland, Ohio. Received A.B. in 1951, A.M. in 1952, and Ph.D. in 1955 from Western Reserve University. Professor of English at Detroit Institute of Technology 1957 to 1960 and at Western Kentucky State College in Bowling Green. Teacher in Cleveland Public Schools.

  Contributor to COINS Magazine after 1961. Contributed many articles to Numismatic News. Feature editor for Coin World 1961-1962. Coin and stamp columnist for Christian Science Monitor 1959 to 1965. Author on Coin Collector’s Price Guide published in 1987. Public relations consultant to Federal Brand Enterprises. Appointed editor with Sterling Publishing Company in 1969. Director of numismatic division for Schulman Coin & Mint, Inc. in 1975.

  Obojski passed away on October 31, 2020 at St. Francis Hospital in Roslyn, NY.
