• AKA Frederick August Ferdinand. Born at Dresden, Germany; came to America in 1835. He lived in Brazil in 1847. Died at Rome, Italy.

  Pettrich made a wax model of President John Tyler. It was reduced on the portrait lathe to produce the dies for several mint medals: John Tyler Indian Peace Medal obverse (Julian IP- 21,22,23)
