Biografia

• Born inSt. Joe, Texas. Graduated from University of Texas.

  First president of the Dallas Coin Club in 1928. Secretary of the Texas Bankers Association and editor of the “Texas Bankers Record.” Collector of paper money. ANA Board member 1929 to 1939.

  He wrote many articles for Coin World, Numismatic Scrapbook and The Numismatist.

  He won the Howland Wood Award in 1953. Received ANA Medal of Merit in 1965. In 1974 he was inducted into the ANA Numismatic Hall of Fame,

  He died at home in Dallas, Texas.
