• Born in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Married Mary E. Poole in 1943. Served in Army Air Corps 1943 to October 1945. He re-enlisted in 1947 and served for 15 years in public information. He retired from the USAF in 1965. Employed as editor of Numismatic News 1966 to 1972. Contributed "Slightly Numismatic" column to NN. Editor of COINS Magazine 1972 to 1975. Editor of World Coin News after 1975.
