• Resident of Lebanon, Pennsylvania. Graduated from Philadelphia College of Pharmacy in 1890. Employed with George Ross & Co drug store. Married Sarah Lavina Raymond. 

  He collected colonials, Hard Times tokens, Civil War tokens, Half Cents and Large Cents.

  Ross contributed a series of articles to The Numismatist on die varieties of half cents and large cents.
