Bio

• Born in Metz, France (then in Germany). Studied in Munich 1916 to 1923. He came to America in 1923. Married Anna Marie Kreisl May 25, 1925. Studied at Beaux-Arts Institute of Design 1926 to 1927. Employed as an instructor at the National Academy of Design. They had a daughter.

  He designed the Delaware Tercentenary half dollar struck in 1936.
