Resident of Pittsburgh. President of Myers & Shinkle Company in the printing business. He had two sons and two daughters.
Student of California gold. Author of United States Coin Values and Lists in 1911. He had a strong collection of one cent patterns. He served as president of the Western Pennsylvania Numismatic Society. He served as second vice president of the ANA 1914 to 1915.
