  The law authorizing a gold medal for Sinatra was signed by President Clinton on May 14, 1997. The medal, designed by Thomas D. Rogers, was presented to his daughter Nancy on June 5, 1998. Because of a copyright dispute over the source photograph, no bronze replicas were produced.
