Stabler, Edward Público Deposited
Born near Sandy Spring, Maryland. Employed as a farmer, salesman as well as a die sinker and seal engraver. He was one of the founders and first president of the Mutal Fire Insurance Company 1848 to 1883. He died in the house where he was born.
He designed the two mint medals (Julian AM-31, 32) for the Maryland Institute.
