ANA President (b. 9/16/1881 d. 11/27/1951)
Born in Horby, Sweden. He came to America in 1887. Married Corrine Paulson August 5, 1923. Owner and editor of the Omaha Posten 1910 to 1943. He sold the paper to become a full time coin dealer.
Active in Republican party politics and delegate to the Republican National Convention in 1928. National treasurer for the John Ericsson Republican League of America 1926 to 1930; national secretary after 1930.
He was life member number 12 of the ANA. He served as chairman of the ANA board 1929 to 1933 and 19th ANA President August 31, 1933, to August 29, 1935. Operated Coin and Stamp Exchange. He was founder of the Omaha Coin Club.
He collected jewelry, firearms, Indian relics and autographs. He was a director of the Omaha Library Board, the custodians of the Byron Reed collection. His library had 5000 books on numismatics. He died in Omaha.
