• Born in Bryan County, Georgia. Attended Georgia Tech. Married to Catherine Tanner with two children. Employed as engineering staff operations manager for Southern Bell Telephone and Telegraph in Atlanta.

  Served as president of Atlanta Coin Club.Second Vice President for the ANA 1941 to 1942. General Chairman for the Atlanta ANA convention in 1961.
