West, Louis Caulton Público Deposited
Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Received A.B. from Northwestern University in 1905; A.M. from Harvard in 1912. Served in U.S. Army during WWI 1918-1919. Married Francis Bragdon November 13, 1920. They had a daughter. Partner in Hayden Miller & Co. 1919 to 1933.
He served as first vice president of the ANS from January 11, 1947, to January 15, 1949, and then as 16th ANS President until about 1960. Curator of the Coins and Medals at the Princeton University Library after 1944.
