Bio

• Born in Cincinnati, Ohio. Received A.B. from Georgetown University. Employed with The Western and Southern Life Insurance Company after 1931; chairman of the board after 1957.

  His collection with a value over $250,000 was purchased jointly by Sol Kaplan and Numismatic Gallery in 1950. The collection included an 1804 dollar and 1822 half eagle. The collection was also strong in territorial gold.
