                  Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, sister of Charles Opitz. Married John Wilson April 27, 1968. They have no children. Employed after January 1961 as printing specialist/buyer with Milwaukee Public Schools.

                  Nancy served as president of the South Shore Coin Club in 1987. Served on the board for Numismatists of Wisconsin after 1986. Elected to the ANA board in 1988. She is a frequent exhibitor and educational speaker. Her exhibit at ANA in 1984 won the Howland Wood award.
