• Resident of Portland, Oregon. Bought 1804 dollar from Parvin for $2000 in 1903. Consigned collection for sale at auction in four sales conducted by Lyman Low. The first sale October 11, 1904 had the strong U.S. pieces including a Sommers Islands Shilling at $32 and sixpence at $42. It also had the 1804 dollar purchased by Dunham for $1100. The November 16, 1904, sale was primarily European coins. The January 19, 1905, sale was primarily ancients.
