Worked for Wally Hopper’s coin shop in 1980, manager in 1981 and owner in 1983. Owner of All About Coins in Salt Lake City. PNG member after 1996.
He collects Pony Express medals and participates in a national reride.
He has issued and distributed more than 50,000 Patrick Mint tokens.Author of Utah Trade Tokens (1998). He was named a Numismatic News Numismatic Ambassador in 1998.
Elected to the ANA board in 1997. President of the ANA 1999 to 2001. He received the Glenn Smedley Memorial Award in 2001.
