The Elder Monthly, Thomas L.Elder Público Deposited
The house organ of New York City dealer Thomas Elder, from 1906-1908. An important source for numismatic information of the period, featuring not just coins for sale but also club news and original articles. The final two issues (Vol. 2, No. 10-11, December 1907 - January 1908, and Vol. 2. No. 12, February-March 1908), were published under the title The Elder Magazine.
Elder later restarted his house organ under the name of The Numismatic Philistine (3 issues in 1909), and then returned to the title of The Elder Magazine (12 issues) during 1910 and 1911.
