• Born at Annapolis, Maryland. Married Margaret Chew in 1750. Following her death, he married Sarah Fishbourne. Planter and judge.

  Author of A Treatise on Copper Coin. He published a 1789 pamphlet “On Monies, Coins, Weights, Measures, Proposed for the United States of America.”
