Bio

• Born in Lyman, New Hampshire. Married to Lauretta. Member of the firm of Rawdon, Wright, Hatch and Edison which later became the American Bank Note Company. Treasurer for ABNCo. 

  Co-author of New Security for Protecting Bank Notes from Alterations & Photographic Counterfeits (1858). Member of the firm Rawdon, Wright, Hatch & Edson, Bank Note Engravers (later American Bank Note Company).

  He died in New York City and is buried in Ridgefield, Connecticut.
