Born in East Cleveland, Ohio. Graduated from Yale University in 1941 with a degree in engineering. He married Genevieve on May 16, 1942. Employed at Remington Gun Works during World War II. Employed at Hill & Knowlton. Later self employed.
He acquired a coining press and began to issue private medals in his basement. He produced medals for Heraldic Art Medals with a series of 67 medals.
He collected stamps and British Bolton medals. He sold his collection of Greek coins to Dr. Vladamir Clain-Stefanelli. President of the Orders and Medals Society of America in 1972-74.
He died in Cleveland.
