Past President of the Blue Ridge Numismatic Society and past president of the Society of Paper Money Collectors. Named a Numismatic Ambassador in 1996. She received the Glenn Smedley Memorial Award in 1996 and Medal of Merit in 1998. In 2015 she was honored as one of the “Numismatic Points of Light.” In 2017 she was inducted into the SPMC Hall of Fame.
