  • Born in Carrollton, Georgia. Graduated from Georgia Tech in 1930. Graduated from Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arta in 1934. Served as a major in the U. S. Army during World War II. Married to Jean with two daughters. Part time professor of architecture at Georgia Tech 1936 to 1972.

    He designed the 1977 Jimmy Carter Inaugual Medal.
