Biografia

• Born in Connecticut. Settled in Worthington, Ohio. Proprietor of Griswald’s Tavern. Banker who issued “Griswald’s Currency” about 1816 to 1819. The currency was devalued when robbers broke in and ran off extra copies of the issue.

  He died in Worthington, Ohio.
