• Born in Hawleyville, Iowa. Married to Marjorie Holmes in 1941 with four children.  Past president of the Des Moines Coin Club 1973 to 1974. Governor for Central States Numismatic Society. He collected Iowa national bank notes.

  Marjorie Owen [Hendershott] (1924-2003) served as president of Central States.

  He died in Adel, Iowa.
