• Born in New York City. Received A.B. from Harvard College, J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center. Married Ruth Schwartz with two children.

  Served as Director of the Office of Management and Budget. He served as White House Chief of Staff 2012 to 2013. Served as Secretary of the Treasury 2013 to 2017.

  After leaving office he became partner in Lindsay Goldberg, a private investment firm.
