Bio

• Born in Chicago, Illinois, and lost her sight shortly after birth. Received A.B. from Goucher College in 1917, A.M. from Johns Hopkins University in 1919, Ph.D in 1921.

  Author of Paper Money in Maryland 1727-1789 (1923). Published as a Ph.D Thesis for Johns Hopkins University.
