                  Born in Worcester, Massachusetts. Graduated from Cornell College in 1919. Founded Damon G, Douglas Construction Co. in Newark in 1931.

  Served on the ANA Board 1943 to 1944. He received the Medal of Merit in 1948. Fellow of the American Numismatic Society. Past president of New Jersey Numismatic Society. Past president of New York Numismatic Club 1949-1951.
