  • Born in Windsor County, Vermont (or Toronto, Canada). Married with five children. Worked as a cameo cutter in St. Lawrence, New York. He moved to New York City in 1842. In 1858 he moved to a farm in Dodge County, Minnesota. He died in San Jose, California.
