Born in San Jose California. Married to Frieda with two children. Professional golfer and owner of a golf shop and driving range. Chief electrician at California Packing Co. (Del Monte).
Past President of the San Jose (CA) Coin Club.
He was known as the “King of Coins” or “The W. C. Fileds of Coin Collecting.” He wore a flashy suit decorated with valuable coins. This was donated to the San Jose Historical Museum. Received Krause Publications Numismatic Ambassador Award in 1982.
He died in Scotts Valley, California.
