• Born at the family home in North Andover, Massachusetts. Served with the U. S. Army Air Corps doring WWII. Employed in the family business Davis and Furber Machine Company.

  He received the Glenn Smedley Memorial Award in 2004. Named a Numismatic News Numismatic Ambassador in 2008.

  He died at North Andover, Massachusetts.
