Well this is confusing! When I first attributed it I used Taylor. It matched W-17 right down to the bits of fragmented detail and as I said compared favorably. Now I open Charlton and see a picture of a supposed W-17 with similar obverse detail and tons more reverse detail? I don't get it. If Taylor's was finest know then this W-17 in Charlton must be a composite, as he does mention that 16 and 17 share the same reverse. But like I said, I'm new to this series and very tired right now. I'll give it more thought tomorrow.
Good night, Clem
