Ray...I was kidding...but he is selling something that I know what he= paid for. I actually did good selling through the old Early American Numis= matics before the name was changed to Early American History. He isn't chea= p but I saved those old catalogs just for the coolness factor. He plated al= l the coins I sold...a Mass Pinetree, common variety, Noe-29...got 1200 ove= r 20 years ago.If you were a type collector...it was perfect for you...full= y struck and perfectly centered...got it from Mary...same as the Bolen-?? H= igley....got a 4or 500 I think...full mint red...cherry red. Of course, the= Red Book plate coin....went for around 800 bucks for a Camel head and I ha= d paid 140...that was my first big score in coins. Held it 2 years. Was tol= d Whitman had photographed it when I bought it, and that it was going to be= the Red Book coin. The Red Book came out a couple months later, and they h= ad added the Camel Head. but no photo...the following year, bingo!! My coin= was the plate coin. If anyone has old red books, look back to the 80's whe= n they added this...the first couple years you'll see it...had a red spot o= n it making it very noticeable....I also sold a bunch of early paper from W= oodbridge, and a Continental Currency from down south jersey...and 1 autogr= aphed by David Brearly...think that's the proper spelling. I think he's bur= ied in Rahway cemetery. I had also bought a Rev era navel cutless and somet= hing signed by King George II with the wax stamp...never held onto anything= for more than a couple years....there were a handful of other things bough= t/sold over the EAN years.

Don, I believe that it is 6.4-K. Not A.2, and not= I reverses. Matches up to too many points of 6.4-K not to be. Of course, as= you say, I would rather see it in the copper to be certain, but I thought= you might want my best guess based upon your pic. David

I know looking at the coin itself is better than = my photos, but I am considering A2 also, but have not convinced mysel= f yet. :>=20 But should not the crack be somewhat visible on t= he Obverse if it is a 4.3? I see no evidence of a crack.
I do not see the Obverse being a 4.3, thus elimin= ating A2??? Fun when these coppers are in such great shape. I have nev= er found many CTs, and I believe most are not identified, my son has had b= etter luck with his CT grounders for condition.
I still think the Obverse is a 6.4 and not 4.3, b= ut these darn CT are mucho harder than NJ coppers. :>)
