    Ray...I was kidding...but he is selling something that I know what he=
    paid for. I actually did good selling through the old Early American Numis=
    matics before the name was changed to Early American History. He isn't chea=
    p but I saved those old catalogs just for the coolness factor. He plated al=
    l the coins I sold...a Mass Pinetree, common variety, Noe-29...got 1200 ove=
    r 20 years ago.If you were a type collector...it was perfect for you...full=
    y struck and perfectly centered...got it from Mary...same as the Bolen-?? H=
    igley....got a 4or 500 I think...full mint red...cherry red. Of course, the=
    Red Book plate coin....went for around 800 bucks for a Camel head and I ha=
    d paid 140...that was my first big score in coins. Held it 2 years. Was tol=
    d Whitman had photographed it when I bought it, and that it was going to be=
    the Red Book coin. The Red Book came out a couple months later, and they h=
    ad added the Camel Head. but no photo...the following year, bingo!! My coin=
    was the plate coin. If anyone has old red books, look back to the 80's whe=
    n they added this...the first couple years you'll see it...had a red spot o=
    n it making it very noticeable....I also sold a bunch of early paper from W=
    oodbridge, and a Continental Currency from down south jersey...and 1 autogr=
    aphed by David Brearly...think that's the proper spelling. I think he's bur=
    ied in Rahway cemetery. I had also bought a Rev era navel cutless and somet=
    hing signed by King George II with the wax stamp...never held onto anything=
    for more than a couple years....there were a handful of other things bough=
    t/sold over the EAN years.

    That expert was none other than Dana Linnett. He owns the c=
    ompany that has all those colonial Early American History auctions. I can't=
    believe he estimated one at 2 grand; another, at 2 to 3 grand; and the las=
    t at 6-8 grand and the idiot took 3 grand for the whole group.
    Dana's been on 3 times that I know of, for an early map of =
    Boston and a double John Hancock article.

    Hey did you catch any of the history channel recently? Do=
    you ever watch Pawn Stars?
    Some guy brought 3 GW buttons in the store and the dealer=
    said he wasn't sure about them and had to bring in an expert. I had to lau=
    gh. I'm no expert but I surely would have recognized GW buttons! He should =
    have bought them quickly rather then bring in an expert. He had to pay clos=
    er to the expert price of thousands!

    one down in this photo is the best conditiioned ground found of the Conn c=
    oppers we have, these are some of the ones my son has found. I have some =
    better NJ coppers and even VT but Conn coppers and me? NOT perfect togethe=

    points you mentioned, although i think I already did and was wishy washy =

    I will try day light photos and see if one of the i=

    I still think the Obverse is a 6.4 and not 4.3, b=

    harder than NJ coppers. :>)
