Thanks=C2=A0Will, there are hundreds of coin collecting=C2=A0programs =C2=
=A0for federal but one for colonial I have never seen, I thought of maybe a=

=C2=A0 Paul, On my phone it's just a free gallery app from the app store.=
There are several. Hard part is photographing.=C2=A0 The spreadsheet is a =
little more complicated. I'm not familiar with mobile app development tools=
, but I'm sure you could create a website that does the basics fairly easil=
    y. I just chose to do it in Excel cause I know it better than I know web de=
    v tools. Will

My email crashed while sending a note, so you may get two very similar ones=
from me as I retype. =C2=A0Sorry.Syd,Your notes have some excellent sugges=
tions for things I'm not including but should. =C2=A0And your comment about=
a spreadsheet reminded me of a few other things I do, butforgot to mention=
.1. I have about 2/3 of my colonial-era coins and paper photographed. Need =
to do the rest, and photograph my federal collection. But, what I do have p=
hotographed, I have on my smart phone, in chronological order. =C2=A0Great =
for taking to coin shows, etc. =C2=A02.Iwrote a macro-driven Excel workbook=
with categories based on Lou Jordan's Notre Dame site, with a few added. =
=C2=A0You click on a category and it lists subcategories. =C2=A0Click on a =
sub-category and it brings up thumbnails of my coins and paper in the sub-c=
ategory. =C2=A0Click on a thumbnail andit brings up an enlarged pic. (See a=
ttached) =C2=A0As an aside, our local coin club has quarterly auctions. =C2=
=A0We are about to introduce a variation of this spreadsheet that will proj=
ect images of the current lot, latest bid, etc., and keep up with who bough=
t what, print lot tickets, etc. - likethe big guys - well, sort of. =C2=A0 =
=C2=A03. I, too, keep a detailed spreadsheet, but am WAY behind updating it=
